Babies become calm and comforted through moving to steady rhythms. Experiences with steady rhythms makes them ready to explore sounds and instruments. They will also gain a recognition of sounds that leads them to begin problem solving through exploration of language in music and the use of instruments.

While littles learn through music, parents can deepen their bond with their children and learn activities they can continue to pursue at home.

I am Deanna Cox from Kingwood, Texas. I taught school for 35 years and 20 of those years were in elementary music. During that time, I also directed children’s music programs in church settings. My passion is to continue to share my love of music through classes that provide singing, moving, and playing instruments. 

The mission of Generational Harmonies is to enrich lives and strengthen community connections by providing engaging, accessible, and intergenerational music education opportunities from early childhood through senior adults.

Generational Harmonies will foster creativity, lifelong learning, cognitive wellness, and meaningful relationships through individual and group music experiences. The program includes instrument instruction, singing, and collaborative performances. By bringing generations together through the joy of music, the organization will celebrate shared experiences, inspire personal growth, and create a vibrant culture of connection.
