Baby Music Classes
Pictures of our first music class

Babies become calm and comforted through moving to steady rhythms. Experiences with steady rhythms makes them ready to explore sounds and instruments. They will also gain a recognition of sounds that leads them to begin problem solving through exploration of language in music and the use of instruments.

At Generational Harmonies you can join us for our weekly Foundations Kindermusik Parent/Child classes geared towards littles 3 -14 months old. These classes offer an opportunity for parents to participate with their child through play, touch, music, and instruments. 

While littles learn through music, parents can deepen their bond with their children and learn activities they can continue to pursue at home.

There are 10 sessions available starting Monday October 5th weekly through December 14th with a break for Thanksgiving week. Registration for the classes are on the calendar below.

Toddler Music Classes

Toddlers are very curious and want to have control over things in their life so this can lead them to want to try many things on their own. In a toddler music class, parents come alongside their toddler to experience music through language, singing, movement, and playing instruments. Parents are equipped with activities that can be done at home with their toddler. If you have a toddler between 18 and 36 months, come try out our Toddler Music Class. I hope this experience will get you and your toddler excited to want to join us in the spring for these weekly music classes.

Education & Experience

Owner/CEO

I am Deanna Cox from Kingwood, Texas. I taught school for 35 years and 20 of those years were in elementary music. During that time, I also directed children’s music programs in church settings. My passion is to continue to share my love of music through classes that provide singing, moving, and playing instruments.

Mission and Vision of Generational Harmonies

The mission of Generational Harmonies is to enrich lives and strengthen community connections by providing engaging, accessible, and intergenerational music education opportunities from early childhood through senior adults.

Generational Harmonies will foster creativity, lifelong learning, cognitive wellness, and meaningful relationships through individual and group music experiences. The program includes instrument instruction, singing, and collaborative performances.
